City Palace of Udaipur

The City Palace of Udaipur is located on the banks of Lake Pichola. This historical palace of Rajput heritage is great piece architecture. Kumbhalgarh Fort

Kumbhalgarh fort is situate about 90km from the city of Udaipur and is a great place to visit outside of Udaipur . This hill top fort is including in the list of World heritage sites and the architecture is just mesmerizing . This is one of the main forts in Mewar kingdom .

Bada Mahal

The Bada Mahal is men’s section of the city palace. This massive palace holds gorgeous gardens ,lawns, huge courtyards and great vies from the terraces and balconies. This Rajput-mughal style Palace is a great place to enjoy the royal feel of the city.

Sajjan garh Palace

Sajjangarh palace of Udaipur provides a great view of the Pichola lake as it is situate 950m on a hill above sea level. This palace is also call ‘monsoon palace’ as this was use to watch the progress of the monsoon clouds by the kings of Mewar.

Chittorgarh Fort

Chittorgarh fort is one of the largest forts of India and is also include in the list of world heritage sites. This fort was capital of the Mewar kingdom . This historically significant fort displays Rajputana culture with a great detail. This fort is situate 115 km from Udaipur in the city of Chittorgarh.

Fateh Prakash Palace

This spectacular piece of architecture is extremely unique palace. The large amount of paintings and artefacts are a great illustrative of the history and culture of the city. The palace is now converted into museum and is great place to observe the artwork of Rajput culture.

Jag Mandir Palace

This architectural marvel is situated on an island in Pichola lake. The great lake side sunset view offered by this palace is just blissful. To get to the palace a 30 min boat ride is to be taken from the banks of lake.

Taj Lake Palace

Taj Lake Palace is one of the most romantic structures of Udaipur. The palace was used as a recreation spot of the king. Boasting of 66 rooms, the grand palace has been converted into a heritage hotel and hosts tourists from all over the world.
