Dudh Sagar Falls North Goa

You might remember this sensational waterfall scene from the movie Chennai Express. Dudhsagar fall is a four-tiered waterfall situated in Goa and Karnataka (approx 90 km from Baga beach). There are two ways of reaching there.

  • Jeep safari- you can start your journey at Bhagwan Mahavir wildlife sanctuary following the mud trails of the forest to reach the waterfall. It will take approx 1.5 hrs to reach the main location. one jeep will accommodate 6- 8 people.
  • By trekking- the last and most rewarding way to reach the falls, there are two treks available
    • Kulem- Dudhsagar trek
    • Castle rock trek

Both will take approx 3-4.5 hrs to reach the primary location.

 

Either way is adventurous and will add a memorable page to the book of your Goa visit. (Advisory !-It is suggested not to visit the falls during the monsoon due to sudden rains and chances of floods.)
